Growing Taller Exercises – The Athletes Dream Up The Height Ladder

That’s right you can perform simple growing taller exercises to get you up the height ladder. Exercise is usually used to cut fat and promote muscle and tissue growth but you can use it to promote height growth. 

The sciency stuff..... 

Once your bones have fused together (after puberty) there are no proper ways to grow taller, this means no pills, no creams and no machines to stretch you out to size. There are however sneaky methods to get around this and increase your height by a few inches in a couple of weeks. Exercises are targeted at your shins, thighs and the spine which are the few bones that can still stretch/straighten out to their full potential and this can be done through simple regular exercise. 

The exercises... 

  • Running 
Running is a great way to increase your height. By running over a distance you are creating micro-fractures in your shin and as these heal they grow back stronger and bigger which adds to your height. To make the change quicker you can sprint instead of running on a regular basis. It is recommended that you go 3-4 times a week with rest days in between to make sure that you don’t do as much harm than good. 
  • Jump rope 
Jump rope is one of the top ways to increase your height. The method recommended is to just jump high enough for the rope to flow underneath and try to aim for 500 jumps a session. This may seem like an impossible task but soon enough you will be surpassing this goal. 
  • Cycling 
Cycling is a more popular exercise to use. For this it is recommend that you increase the height of the bike (stationary or mobile) a few inches but making sure that you are still comfortable. Once you have this sorted you can cycle around for 15-30 minutes. 

Diet 

Dieting is vital to these exercises as it will fuel your body through the exercises and for the growth. You will want to increase the intake of the following nutrients if you wish to make any changes... 

  • Protein – The building blocks of growth of muscle so it is essential you increase your intake
  • Calcium – You are focusing on your bones so calcium is important to keep them strong 
  • Water – To help absorb all these nutrients you want to increase your water intake! 

Sleep

If you are a bodybuilding buff then you know how important sleep is to growth. The same applies here, you want to sleep 8-10 unbroken hours of sleep to increase your HGH (human growth hormone) output through your body which will help you grow taller.
